We're exactly one month from race day. One month from 26.2 miles. One month away for the past six months to pay off. That's the significance of today.
I'd write more about this day, however Trainer Dan just kicked my a$$ six different ways till Sunday during my work out and I'm rather tired.
We have our last big run this weekend and we're running with the group. Wish us luck!

Mandy...you'll be fine! Just pace yourself on race day. I started running only 5 years ago--the 2004 Disney marathon was my first race. I ran for Train to End Stroke (the American Stroke Assn) and raised $1500. The marathon is hard...but there is NOTHING like crossing that finish line. Trust me. I've done 5 more marathons since--including the GOOFY CHALLENGE in 2006--and numerous halfs....I just ran Portland in Oct....I'm running the Disney half on Sat with a buddy who is also a race-virgin. But he wanted to start with the half.....Weenie. My hubby and I thoroughly enjoyed your comments on the half. Very funny. Very true. :-) Best wishes to you! You'll be hooked for life. I am. :-)
